WHO:

 For Washingtonians and Metro-area residents looking for the finest in home furnishings, furniture, fabric, lighting, floor covering, wall covering, accessories and art, stone and building products, the Design Center offers world renowned products in one convenient location.

Groups looking for an introduction to the Design Center are welcome to participate in special pre-arranged tours and programs.

 

WHAT:

The Washington Design Center is the mid-Atlantic’s one-stop shopping resource for the finest in home furnishings, kitchens, tile, stone and building products. The showrooms cater to interior designers, architects, and space planners for custom design for their clients.  Consumers may window shop the entire building and browse a select number of home furnishing showrooms, but must contact a design professional in order to purchase from those home furnishing showrooms. Trade and consumers may shop direct six days a week on the concourse level for kitchen, tile, stone and building products. 

 

WHERE:

300 D Street, SW between 3rd and 4th on D Street, two blocks off the Mall.  Paid parking available in the building’s garage.  Metro access via Orange or Blue lines to Federal Center, SW station located in the building.

 

WHEN:

Home Furnishing Showrooms are open Monday- Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Design House--an inspirational biannual decorator show house brimming with idea-filled rooms and luxurious home furnishings from Design Center showrooms. Open weekdays free of charge, 9 a.m.-5p.m and Saturdays, 10am-3pm.

The Washington Design Center now offers consumers not currently using an interior design professional, an exclusive insider purchasing opportunity. Through Entrée, you can now access a unique courtesy purchasing service that allows you to procure a limited number of to-the-trade items from our Design Center showrooms.
